1. How is a payout calculated?

Here is the formula for how a payout is calculated:

payout = [(previous balance) + sales - returns + bonus + allowance release] - return allowance*

Things to keep in mind:

Here is an example:

Previous Balance = $50.00
Sales = $100.00
Returns = $25.00
Bonus = $5.00
Allowance release = $30.00

Here's the math:

$50.00 (previous balance)
+ 100.00 (sales)
- 25.00 (returns)
+ 5.00 (bonus)
+ 30.00 (allowance release)
______
$160.00 (preliminary total)

Allowance = $160.00 x 10% = $16.00

$160.00 (preliminary total)
- 16.00 (return allowance)
________
$144.00 (payout amount)
